Konstantin Sapronov is the head of the Global Emergency Response Team, where he leads global experts to provide services that respond to and investigate information security incidents.

Konstantin joined Kaspersky in 2000 as an engineer for UNIX products. In this role, he was responsible for the release of a line of UNIX products for various platforms. In 2006, he joined the Anti-Malware Team as a virus analyst and then led the Non-Intel Anti-Malware Group. In 2007 he moved to China to establish Kaspersky’s Anti-Malware Lab in Beijing. Returning to Moscow in 2011, he led the Kaspersky Global Emergency Response Team.

Konstantin graduated from Moscow Energetic Institute (Management and informatics in technical system) and Moscow State University of Economy Statistic and Informatics (Financial Management).
